About Eric

Eric lives in Boiling Springs with his wife Marianne and his three year old daughter Zora. When he's not spending time with his family, Eric likes to exercise, especially running. He volunteers his time fighting hunger and poverty with the RESULTS organization, as well as addressing local education issues with the Carolina First Center for Excellence.

Eric works for BMW Manufacturing Corporation as a project manager in the Continuous Improvement Department. Before that, he was the manager in BMW's Central Laboratory, where he conducted raw materials quality assurance and chemical analysis. Eric has worked for BMW since 1998.

Previous work experience includes positions as the manager of the Analytical Laboratory for the J.M. Huber Corp., Engineered Minerals Division in Macon, Georgia, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.

Eric Hayler holds BA, MS, and PhD degrees in Chemistry from Rutgers University.
